The apartment is surrounded by shops, restaurants, pubs. Next to the apartment you will find a very nice park with wild parrots and a playground. The beach is sandy, the water is shallow. The next beach (next to the pier, about 5 minutes walk) is deep, rocky on the side with waves. 
Torrevieja has a nice, busy city centre in walking distance. During the summer, there are lots of events, markets mainly in the weekends where local people sell their handmade items. You can buy souvenirs, you can eat and drink traditional Spanish meals. 
The streets are busy during the day and night as people are enjoying their holidays, the good weather and the entertainment. Very vivid area. 

Please pay attention as there are quiet hours between midnight and 8 o'clock in the morning.

Around the apartment, there are lots of free parking spaces on the street all year around. 
In walking distance you can find bakery, shops, quad and bike rental, restaurants (English, Spanish, Indian, Italian and many more), pubs. They are all great, reasonable priced, wide range of choice. About a 15 minute walk there is a long promenade with all the different places to eat and drink. For teenagers and adults there are discos at the harbour. 
Next to the apartment you can find a park with parrots, lots of greenery and a playground, ideal for smaller children. 
If you have a car, within a half an hour drive in both directions there are two big shopping centres with restaurants and shops.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor with lift. Free parking on the street. Please make sure you inform us about your arrival time so host/co-host can meet you at the entrance and show you around the apartment. Because the apartment is in a block of flats, self check-in is not possible. Check in time is 15:00-23:00 on the day of arrival, check out time is 08:00-11:00 on the day of departure. This gives enough time for cleaning the apartment for the next guests. If you would like to check-in or out at a different time, please talk to us as it is not always possible. 

Entering the apartment, there is a hall with a shoe cabinet and coat hangers. There you can find the keys for the doors. We always leave two sets of keys. Losing any of them will cost you 50 euros.

First door is the bathroom. Toilet, bidet, shower and sink with hot water (in the summer the cold water is warm enough to have a good shower). Towels, facecloths, toiler paper and liquid soap are provided. As a little gesture, handmade soaps and cream, sanitary items are in the welcome pack. 
 
Next door is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. The kitchen was refurbished at end of 2022. Toaster, coffee machines, kettle, refrigerator and gas hob. When the gas bottle gets empty, please ask for the host/co-host help to change it for you. Coffee, coffee pods, tea bags, sugar and seasonings are provided. There is a shop and a bakery nearby if you run out any of these or you prefer to eat in the apartment.  Please note this is a self-catering accomodation. At every Friday there is a food market,  it is about a 30 minute-walk, where local growers sell their fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade wines and sangria. 

Walking forward, you enter to the living room. Here you can find the dining corner. Very comfortable sofa for watching TV (smart TV, free WIFI), playing board/card games (you can find some under the TV on the shelf) or just to relax. In the cabinet there are different glasses to enjoy the local drinks. The air-conditioner is for heating or cooling the area. 

Master bedroom has a king sized bed. You can store your clothes in two wardrobes and a chest of drawers. In the wardrobe there is an iron, ironing board, travel cot (if you need, please ask host/co-host for help to assemble it) and spare pillows and duvets. Opening the wardrobe there is a safety box, screwed safely to the wardrobe shelf and to the wall. Please ask host/c-host to help to set it up so you can keep your valuables inside during your holiday.

Smaller bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe with hangers and bedside table with a lamp. Every window and the balcony door has shutter. 

Through the living room you get to the balcony where you can enjoy the morning coffee or the evening wine. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony, prohibited inside the apartment. In the storage you find beach chairs and beach toys for children. Make sure they will not be lost as other guests would like to use them too. The provided towels are just for home use, please do not take them to the beach. If you need to buy them, local Chinese shop sells them. 
The Welcome book has everything you need to know during your stay. House rules, host/co-host phone numbers (we speak English and Hungarian - Judit/host; Spanish, German, Hungarian - Gabor/co-host) emergency phone numbers, nearest pharmacy and hospital addresses and phone numbers. I added some recommended places to eat or drink or ordering food. Please be aware that online order websites only accept Spanish phone numbers. If you need a Spanish SIM card (for internet or ordering takeaways) I recommend to get a Lobster pay as you go SIM card. After your holiday you can keep it for next time, leave it to the next guests or bin it.   

Smart system is installed in the apartment for safety and energy saving reasons, but no camera. In the hall there is a smart smoke and carbon-monoxide meter, in emergency I will get a notification on my phone. Because of the rising energy prices, when the air-conditioner is on and the balcony/front door is opened for more than a minute, the air-con will automatically turn off . Closing the doors, it will automatically turn on again. Please make sure when you leave the apartment to turn off the lights and if you leave the air-conditioner on, close the windows. Disconnecting any of the smart devices will cause immediate cancelling of your holiday. Smart system is installed for the host and the guests safety. Thank you very much for your understanding.
